Check whether the site is eligible
Open the page and view the HTML title. Search Google for that exact title in quotes, and for the canonical URL. If your own name does not appear, the problem may be indexing rather than competition.
Look for a noindex tag left over from a staging site, a password page, or a redirect chain that never lands. Those are technical SEO problems, not a reason to buy more blog posts.
Check the listing separately from the website
Map results and the organic website are different surfaces. A correct website can still be invisible in the map pack if the profile is unverified, suspended, or named differently from the signs and the site.
The website linked on the profile should be the canonical HTTPS URL, ideally the page for that business, not a dead campaign link.
Competition is not the first assumption
If established local companies have more reviews and a longer history, you will not outrank them with a keyword in the footer. You can still be the clearest result for your name and for specific services you actually perform.
Thomas KC IT can audit the technical and on-page side. Profile verification and review requests still require the owner.
